A Marine veteran and certified executive protection specialist, Dr. Robertson leads Onyx Strategic Defense with the mindset of a warrior and the precision of an executive. His background in Close Personal Protection, Self-Defense Instruction, and Emergency Response forms the foundation of Onyx’s disciplined approach to risk management.

Dr. Robertson is a Service-Disabled U.S. Marine Corps Veteran with extensive experience in tactical operations, executive protection, and instructional leadership. His career reflects a lifetime commitment to readiness and resilience.
As a certified instructor in Self-Defense, First Aid, CPR/AED, and Stop the Bleed, Dr. Robertson has trained hundreds of Marines, professionals, and civilians in real-world survival and leadership skills. He also founded the Wolfs Den Self-Defense Academy, further expanding his mission to prepare individuals and organizations for modern threats.
His philosophy — “Preparation is the greatest form of protection” — drives every Onyx engagement. Dr. Robertson blends battle-tested tactics, modern intelligence analysis, and human behavior insight to build a new standard of professional protection.
